MeWater is a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization for our youth and our volunteers. Together, we share a commitment to learning about and protecting our San Francisco-area beaches, parks and outdoor spaces as we cultivate future stewards of the environment.

As the Covid-19 pandemic struck, and MeWater responded by raising funds to provide food, hygiene items, and masks for the more than 400 families we serve. We have provided more than 5,000 meals for our families, and as food insecurity continues, we continue our unwavering support.

At MeWater,

we listen and we engage, because we believe that every voice counts. We envision a future that is just and equitable for the children we serve, and with the support of our many community partners, we are building it together.

On June 6, 2020, we paddled into the ocean to express racial solidarity and honor those lives lost to police brutality. We encourage our children to engage in open dialogue and peaceful protest. We grieve together and work towards a better future. MeWater believes deeply in equity for all in the water and on land. We will continue to learn and strive to provide this access to the youth and families that we serve.
